SAFETY POLICY

Safety is one of Moriah Aeronautical College (MAC) core business functions. The management of MAC is committed to developing, implementing, Maintaining and Constantly improving startegies and processes to ensure that all MTC activities take place under appropriate allocation of organizational requirements while delivering our highest safety performance and meeting regulatory requirements while delivering our services.
1. Support the management safety through the provission of all appropriate resources.
2. Ensure the management of safety is primarily responsibility of all managers and employess.
3. Clearly define for all staff, Managers and employees alike, their accountability and responsibility for the delivery of the organizations’ safety performance.
4. Clearly define, for all students’, their responsibilities in regard to safety.
5. Establish and operate hazard identification and risk management processes, including a safety reporting system.
6. Establish and operate a just Non Punitive Safety culture.
7. Comply with and wherever possible, exceed legilative and requlatory safety requirements and standards.
8. Ensure that sufficient skilled and trained human resources are avaolable to imp;ement safety strategies and processes.
9. Ensure that all staff are provided with adequate and appropriate aviation safety information and training.
10. Establish and measure our safety programmes against realistic safety performance indicators and safety performance targets.
11. Continually improve our safety performance programme through continious monitoring and measurements.
12. Continually improve, regularly review and adjust our safety objectives and targets to ensure it remains relevant and appropriate to MAC.
13. Ensure externally supplied systems and services to support our operations meet safety performance standards.
14. Ensuring that any behavior which is unsafe or is projected to lead into joepardy of safety performance is unacceptable.

Its a policy of MAC to provide a relaible, hughest standard of services to its cunstomers and maintain and operate trainning services to the highest standards of quality in compliance with Uganda Civil Aviation Regulations (UCARs). This policy includes the organization’s commitment to compliance with established standards, meeting customer requirements and continuous improvement.

To comply with the requirements of UCARs and achieve the required level of customer satisfaction, MAC maintaind the quality of services by:

Prioritizing Quality and safety in the delivery of trainning programmes

Strictly operating in compliance with the requirement of the Civil Aviation Regulations from time to time and in conformance to the MAC QMS, the MAC Policies and procedures.

Continued improvement of our personal and processes to anticipate, meet and exceed the training needs of our clientele (the Aviation Industry) through front-line input and management leadrership.
